Whether you’re just starting out, returning to the industry, or you’ve been working as an artist for years and simply want to refine your skills or grow your business, mentorship is customized to where you are in your career.

I’ve spent almost 20 years in the beauty industry since graduating from Blanche Macdonald, and I continue to invest in my own education and growth as an artist. Over the years, I’ve worked extensively in bridal, along with fashion shows, photoshoots, fitness competition makeup, magazines and PR events. I’ve also built and run makeup businesses, grown a loyal clientele, and experienced fully booked seasons where I now have to turn inquiries away.

Through all of it, I’ve learned that being a makeup artist is about so much more than creating beautiful makeup. It’s understanding your clients, developing techniques that work on real people, building a kit you trust, creating an experience people remember, and learning how to run the business behind the artistry.

These one-on-one mentorship sessions are a space to learn new techniques, refine the ones you already have, ask honest questions and get real-world guidance from someone who has experienced many different sides of the industry.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll focus on where you are now and what you want to work on next.

    A deeper one-on-one mentorship experience for artists who want to work on both their artistry and the business behind it.

    We’ll spend part of our time hands-on, focusing on the techniques you want to learn, strengthen or refine. Then we’ll dive into your business, where you can bring your real questions, challenges and goals to the table.

    We can cover everything from complexion, bridal and soft glam techniques, kit building and workflow to pricing, client experience, bookings, policies, marketing and growing your business.

    This isn’t a set curriculum. Your 3.5 hours are built around you, your artistry and where you want to go next.

    Bring your own kit and model for the hands-on portion.

    Professional products from my kit may be used during the session for an additional kit-use fee. This is peer-to-peer professional development and does not provide certification.
